What are we working towards?
We aim to make this directory usable with a keyboard, readable on small screens and useful without JavaScript. WCAG 2.2 AA is our target, not a certified or completed conformance claim.
What has been checked?
Focused local Firefox checks cover keyboard navigation, visible focus, skip links, mobile reflow, enlarged text, reduced-motion settings and core reading without JavaScript. The articles and student guides have also had layout checks. These are limited development checks, not a complete accessibility audit.
What is still needed?
A full assessment across all pages, PDFs, assistive technologies and supported browsers, including a complete contrast review. PDF tagging and reading order need specialist review. New enquiry forms are disabled and have not been tested as an active service.
What do the footer labels mean?
They link to this statement and W3C guidance. They are original text labels, not official conformance logos or endorsements. W3C explains the evidence required for conformance logo claims.
How can I report a barrier?
A responsible operator and working accessibility contact must be confirmed before launch. No response deadline is promised in this local preview.
