Qualification cancellation notices: check the provider, dates and decision
A specific ASQA action needs a specific response. A headline cannot tell you your certificate’s status.

ASQA has published a CPP41419 cancellation decision for an affected Baker Ebert cohort. That is not evidence that every real estate qualification, or every former student’s result, has been cancelled.
A verified example shows why details matter
ASQA’s Baker Ebert page lists CPP41419 among the qualifications covered by action relating to awards issued between 31 August 2024 and 24 November 2025. The provider’s registration was cancelled from 24 November 2025. ASQA case page
A published routine-priority decision dated 2 April 2026 concerns recipients who did not respond to the notice of intent. It lists CPP41419 and says the cancellation takes effect on 3 May 2026. Those details establish a real event, while also defining its limits. Published decision
Read a cancellation notice precisely
Separate the different kinds of notice
A provider registration decision, a notice of intent about qualifications and a final qualification decision are different documents. Their headings, dates and affected groups matter. Read your own correspondence alongside the current case page.
If you studied with a named provider, hearing about action can feel unsettling. Start by gathering your enrolment details and qualification record. Ask ASQA to confirm how the action applies to you instead of trying to infer your status from a social post.
For Baker Ebert, the case page now says the response period has closed. Do not rely on its older explanatory wording as evidence that a new response window is open.
Preserve the evidence of your learning
Keep assessment submissions, marked work, feedback and records of practical assessment. ASQA’s case guidance distinguishes evidence of assessed learning from documents that merely show enrolment or payment.
Make a list of what you have and what is missing. If a decision affects your permission to work, seek direction from the licensing regulator as well. Do not guess that a training decision automatically leaves a licence unchanged or automatically ends it.
Choose the next step from the actual decision
Follow the instructions and review information in your own notice. If you need further study, ask a new RTO to explain the assessment needed and any limits on using earlier results. ASQA publishes broader guidance on its qualification integrity actions. Current action index
There is no basis here to label all low-cost, online or RPL courses invalid. Check the named provider, relevant period and actual decision.
Next step: Use the Australia student guide to organise your documents and questions for ASQA and your licensing authority.
